3.18.2018 Thank you all who came to our Open House and Recorder Concert. It really warmed my heart to see them so proud and happy to show you their work and their classroom!
Tuesday we have the New Hampshire Historical Society coming to introduce students to the New Hampshire Mills. Please be sure to ask them about what they learned as well as things they are wondering about the mills. We will be doing some more research in May, including a field trip to the Millyard Museum (more information to come).
Wednesday, March 21st is "World Down Sydrome Day". The day signifies 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. One of the trademarks of the day is that they ask people to wear funky socks to raise awareness. https://worlddownsyndromeday.org/lots-of-socks. We are encouraging students to wear their funky socks on Wednesday. I will be showing a short video on Tuesday. This video gives them a general idea of what Down’s Syndrome is. Below is a link if you want to preview it, but please do not share it with your child until after Tuesday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK3_Bqoeks4
