5.12.2018 Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms and grandmoms, I hope you are doing good things for you this weekend.
We have been researching places to go in New Hampshire and will be continuing to research this week and next before we start our brochures. I am encouraging your child to discuss places with you and perhaps do some research on their own time so that they may have plenty of places from which to choose for both parts of their projects. Be sure to take a look at the homework page for details. I will be introducing the requirements with your children in class on Tuesday, but feel free to go over it with them earlier. Here are a couple of websites we have been using:
Just an FYI our Unit 7 Math test will be on Tuesday. I hope your child showed you their review sheets and have spent some time reviewing it.
Don’t forget that Friday is our field trip to the Currier and Millyard museums! We are requesting that students dress “business casual”, which includes clothes such as slacks (or their VERY best jeans if need be), a collared shirt, a skirt/dress, and shoes (or the very nicest sneakers they have). Ties/suits are not too much if students have them and want to wear them. No need to buy anything special, but we do like our students dress nicely for this trip. We are representing New Boston. My bottom line when students ask questions about what to wear is that you, as their parents, will help them decide what would be best to wear. (This is the same dress code as when we went to the State House.)
