I want to take a minute and thank each and every one of you for so much. First for sharing your children with me. I love each one of them so much and they are each so special. I feel blessed to have been able get to know them. I also want to thank YOU, you ROCKED it with this remote learning. I realize some of you may not feel like you did, but I want to say you really did. The simple fact that you put such a high priority on your child's education helped/helps your child grow academically and socially. Thank you for inviting me to your homes through zooms, through pictures, and especially with the poster drop offs. It did my heart such good to see your child in person. Lastly, but not really, I can probably go on for much longer, thank you for all of your kind words, support and appreciation of the work I did. Of course I put in hard work, it is what I do, but to be appreciated for that work helped me to stay motivated, helped me through many frustrations, and most of all it made me feel loved. Thank you.
That being said, I wanted to let you know that this was my last year at New Boston Central School. I have accepted a job as an instructional coach at Shaker Regional School District in Belmont. This is a position in which I will be able to support teachers supporting students and I am really very excited about the new adventure and opportunity. I want to say that I truly couldn't ask for a better group of students and parents for this last year, I feel that I have had a unique opportunity to not only really get to know your children but get to know you in a way I have never gotten to know my students' parents before. We made a great team! I PROMISE I will come for a visit when I am allowed to hug your children. I am going to continue to live in New Boston, so I am sure I will see you around town. Please don't ever hesitate to come and say hello if you see me.
